BRENTWOOD, TENN., The Pharm Psych Network starts its #BlackOut Business Movement, an endeavor of BlackSpeaks.com, one of its sister sites and the online social enterprise project — all aimed at supporting minority businesses and communities.

The network created BlackOut Business Movement on the BlackSpeaks.com platform to urge more minorities to support minority businesses in the face of a struggling economy and joblessness.

It is inspired by the boycott of major retailers around the country on Black Friday after Thanksgiving Day this year in solidarity with the nationwide protestations in Ferguson, Mo., New York City, Cleveland and other cities.

Visitors — particular minority business owners — to the BlackSpeaks site are asked to list their businesses for free in the minority business directory online and for non-owners to frequent their businesses. Geography is key as businesses listed should represent every region of the country in terms of location.

Furthermore, patrons are asked to like the movement and BlackSpeaks and follow both on social media.

The PharmPsych network, a medical and educational communications company, includes its anchor site, PharmPsych.net, its medical sites PharmPsych.com, MediPreneur.org and PharmaPreneur.org, BlackSpeaks.com, and its educational sites TutorforGood.org, FelicityMotivational.org and FelicityTutors.com.

F. Zaria Chinelo, the founding CEO and president of the PharmPsych network, is a pharmacist, artist, scientist, and entrepreneur. Chinelo possesses six years of experience in teaching education, and web development. She holds dual degrees in molecular biology and general chemistry.

After being hired by Vanderbilt University, Chinelo led urban students to academic success before starting the nonprofit Felicity Motivational Group. She has been honored as a National Merit Scholar and by Texas Instruments for her achievements.

By Professionals, For Professionals

MP900442272“Why us?” you ask. Exactly what makes us –The PharmPsych Network — stand out from the rest?

We answer: our identification with you, the customer and entrepreneur!

Who are we? The PharmPsych Network team boasts a white-collar, professionally-diverse team of experts in their respective fields. We count among our number and professional fold, physicians, pharmacists, lawyers, nurses, and other professionals in the field of health and education. All of our personnel are dually experienced in one or more of the following fields: communications, information technology, graphic design, advertising, and marketing. As a result, we have much in common with our clients and understand your needs best. We, like you, have been there. With many of us having built medical businesses and legal, financial or medical private practices in our own right, we are all too familiar with the challenges and rewards of researching, launching, maintaining, promoting and growing a business.

Many of us have experienced the mixed blessings of starting and operating a enterprise, especially the first few months or years of weekly overtime in a struggling national economy. We know about the out-of-pocket expenses, the high taxes and the leasing and utility fees. Most of us have, in the past, juggled the multiple roles of founder, president, manager, human resources director, accountant, lawyer, advertising agent and public relations specialist to advance our businesses. We’ve undergone the hunt for new clients while simultaneously facing down the frightening prospect of an 80 percent small business failure in the first year. Consequently, you and your business have much to gain in partnering with us to promote your business or private practice — in the name of community health and education!

How do we do it? With empathy, fluency in online tools and social media and an ability to write and edit.

Our collective white-collar career and business experience enables the PharmPsych team to bring to the table empathy for the white-collar professional and entrepreneur. This makes us sensitive to and able to anticipate the marketing, advertising and overall promotional needs of our clients and to craft solutions that fit your goals and your budget.

Our team also brings fluency in online tools and social media to the table — an absolute must for all white-collar professionals and entrepreneurs. This makes us capable of leading and managing your customized advertising and marketing campaign in the right direction toward your intended audiences, optimizing its effectiveness.

Our network also brings an ability to write and edit to the table. Again, many of us are print journalists and freelance writers, if not non-medical or medical white-collar professionals who have maintained a high-quality column or blog. We fully understand the power of the written word and its ability to influence.

We are flexible creatives who can quickly generate quality content with accuracy and fairness. We can move patients and other customers to act or respond to your product or service lines, whether that comes in the form of a newsletter, brochure, news article, blog, audio file or video clip.

Interested yet? Join the PharmPsych network and let us put our combined talent to work for you!

Clarify Your Business Services and Purpose With Brochures!

MP900422773Why does your medical practice need a custom-made brochure?

Like any other business, your medical practice, too, is complex. Your staff provides a wide array of services that must be explained in detail or your services involve a variety of procedures and processes that must be simplified in written content for your clients to make informed decisions.

When it comes to choosing your offerings for their health or lives you need to summarize the most salient points about what your business or practice offers patients and customers. In addition, the information must be presented in a clear, relevant, orderly and understandable language meant for a lay public.

And you must release basic contact information so your patients and customers can reach you with questions, concerns or appointments. A mere business card, postcard or flyer just won’t do to explain all the vital information about what your patient or customer needs to know about your services

Perhaps, your radiology lab provides DNA testing as well as regular physicals, mammograms, immunizations, biopsies or throat cultures and you must communicate the costs, procedures and the mode of delivery of test results.

Perhaps, your ancillary health and nursing staff must describe to prospective employees the part-time, short-term contract, long-term contract and direct hire work arrangements of your client hospitals and medical facilities, for certain positions. You may need to list the specialty-specific positions required by your clients or outline the required licensing, credentialing and privileging documents potential workers must prepare to be considered, interviewed and hired.

Perhaps, your surgical center must explain the numerous steps of a specialty-specific medical procedure your patients may undergo, starting with the administration of anesthesia to the social work coordination required to transfer them to a skilled nursing facility for post-operative rehabilitation — complete with minuscule charts and diagrams.

No matter what your business or private practice needs — font style, font size, text, use of photos or graphic art, charts, diagrams, stock paper, resolution, glossy or matte finish — the professionals at The PharmPsych Network are up to your task!

Our editorial team of medical professionals, who are also dual writers, graphic designers,  advertisers, and marketers take into account the reading and comprehension level of your patients and target market, including those whose original tongue is not English.

We focus on detailing the services your practice or business offers. We employ graphic art or photos to exemplify the main points of the need for your service. We help you command authority through mention of your education, experience and medical or professional background and that of your staff and their positions.

But none of this fine teamwork happens before we consult with you first — our cherished customer! Our strategist, designer, writers and account managers all approach you to determine your needs. After which, a customized marketing and advertising package that suits your business or practice to a T is created!

Over a designated period of time, we produce and finetune a business brochure that does you proud with its content, message, tone and visual art and that form parts of a larger commercial package guaranteed to secure your patient or customer base.

Remember: your brochure will be created according to your medical specialty practice or business, your needs and your clientele type by a skilled and experienced staff — all led by medical professionals, practicing physicians, pharmacists, and and nurses — just like you — who, too, understand medical business design needs.

Grow Your Network With PharmPsych’s LIVE Portfolio

pp-tag-cloud-300Express the Goals and Purpose of Your Medical Practice or Business With Services From Our Live Portfolio

What is the value of using imagery such as cartoons, photography or graphic design in your medical business’ marketing and advertising campaign?

Images are important whether they are used in your marketing elements and advertisements such as sponsored posts, informative articles or ads and or in our communications services such as newsletters, brochures, blog posts and video clips.

Without conjuring up the cliched picture and its 1,000 words, images influence your patients or customers positively. They help instruct your audience about the mission, vision, goals and purpose of your medical business whether, for example, it is the private practice office of a physician, or the welcome area of a dentist’s office or waiting room of an ancillary healthcare staffing company. If you are a non-medical professional who supports the healthcare industry, they reveal much about your career counseling, financial planning or legal expertise.

Images visually support the ideas you put forth in your marketing materials whether you are communicating your palliative care regimen, hospice care processes, medical-specialty treatment plans, immunization policies, or more. They clarify these concepts by demonstrating examples.Additionally, the imagery with its use of subject matter, style of drawing, proportion, positioning, and finish adds to the clean-cut, professional appearance of your marketing content and communication services.

Our graphic content is generated by our editorial team of medical professionals, all of whom are skilled in the arts and services of graphic designers, marketing, and advertising. Our team is skilled and experienced in creating content to accompany the text of your advertorials, newsletters, brochures, blog posts, video clips or slide presentations with the appropriate graphics, photos or cartoons. This can include thumbnails, clipart, digital pictures, stunning backgrounds and special effects to convey the high level of professional competence, experience, dedication, innovation, ability to articulate health concerns and bedside manner of your medical office staff.

Such images could portray a young woman hard at work at her desk as a medical clerk, a receptionist with a headset, a rubber stamp of the words “health insurance,” a smiling nurse, a medical specialist interacting with his or her patient, the interior of a dental office, the waiting room area of a doctor’s office or the spanking-new campus of a medical facility.

In any case, our graphic team use only the most relevant, most appropriate, high-quality imagery to cast your medical and non-medical business and practice in the best professional light before your patients and customers. Our images can move, teach, inspire and motivate. Whatever message you want to convey, chances are that we can do it for you. Let’s talk!
